The Vizsla is a dog breed that originated from Hungary. They are great companions and sports lover. Whenever they are on the field, they will do their best and gives their utmost goodness. They are great sprinters and always ready to set their feet on the track. Vizslas are great in loving their family. They will try their best to keep the owners feeling good.
History of the Vizsla Dog Breed:

Vizslas are also known as the Hungarian pointer and they are descended from the hunting dogs. Earlier they were used by the Magyars and while they migrated to Hungary they brought these dogs along with them. Eventually, these dogs were trained to point and retrieve. Vizsla dogs were found in the arts and depict of the 10th century.
Personality of the Vizsla Dog Breed:

The Vizsla’s are super cool and gentle. They have their most affection towards their owners in their heart and they always look for their companionship. They love to be with their special person. They have a super athletic body and always tend to set their foot in physical activities. Vizsla dog breeds may feel stubborn mostly if they are left alone.
Feeding (Diet and Nutrition):

They have a strong body and they require more amount of nutritional and protein-rich foods. Feed them with the proper quality rich dry food added with fibre, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The animal proteins like meat, fish and poultry would be a good choice for making their body firm and strong. This dog breed may require 3 to 4 cups of quality rich dry foods as per their body requirements.
General Care:

The Vizslas are very good at doing their daily tasks. It makes them more engaged with you. So, exercise is a very must thing to keep them fit and healthy. Take them out for a walk daily and they will be wagging their tails with plenteous of joy. Make Vizsla more comfortable by using the positive commands instead of the harsh words. Because it could make them feel low.

Coat Colour and Grooming:

The Vizslas have a short coat attached to the body. The coat is too short and they are dressed in various shades of golden rust color. Few other varieties have a longer coat followed by the different colors like mahogany, pale yellow and coats with smaller white spots over the chest and toe areas. Vizslas are easy to groom. Brush them once or twice a week.
Size and Weight:

The Vizslas are medium-sized dogs where the male dogs stand average around 22 to 24 inches taller at shoulder level. The female dogs stand around 21 to 23 inches. While looking at the weight both weighs around 45 to 65 pounds.
