Labradoodle is the combination of a Labrador and a poodle. They are intelligent, delightful, and friendly toward children. The wool type is more like a poodle. Celebrities love them. The breed was introduced by the Royal Guide dog association of Australia in Victoria. It has gained worldwide popularity. They are easy to train.
Personality of the Labradoodle Breed:
Labradoodle is quite an affectionate and intelligent dog. They possess all sorts of abilities to make a better companion dog. They are high-capacity learning dogs. They tend to master new tricks fast. These dogs are suitable for families who can take long walks. They participate in sports activities like flyball, agility, and obedience trial. Labradoodles exist in red, black, chocolate, and cream colors. They are categorized into four coats. The wool-type Labradoodle is more like a poodle. There is a fleece-type coat Labradoodle; it is massive in the coat. There is a hair-type Labrador coat and long-haired curls somewhere in between. There is also a loose/wavy fleece coat; it has an incredibly soft texture.
Feeding (Diet and Nutrition):
The diet of the labradoodle involves a combination of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. The diet includes salmon, oatmeal, organic peas, chicken meal, and sweet potatoes. The quantity of food portions depends on age, metabolism, and exercise. Feeding a puppy 3 to 4 times a small meal a day is recommended. An adult needs to be fed twice a day.
They need more haircuts and grooming sessions every 5 to 6 weeks. Hair brushing is required daily due to the thick hairy coat. Maintaining a good hair coat is recommended as they are involved in noting and mating. Some people prefer long hair coats, while others prefer short hair coats.
Common Health Problems:
The life expectance of a labradoodle ranges between 12 to 15 years. They are prone to some medical conditions. There are several genetic problems.

Size (Height and Weight):
Labradoodles are standard, medium, and miniature. The standard labradoodle is 22 to 24 inches in height with an average weight of 50 to 65 pounds. The medium of this breed is 17 to 20 inches in height with an average weight of 30 to 45 pounds. The miniature is 14 to 16 inches in height with an average weight of 15 to 25 pounds.
