In the 14th century, when Columbus claimed Cuba for Spain, more Spanish settlers arrived at this Island, where they accompanied a small breed that comes under the Bichon family of dogs. These dogs were later gets developed, and Havanese was formed. Later in the 18th century, the breed spread across Spain, France, and Britain. The Havanese dog breed got registered with the American kennel club in 1995. 

Personality of the Havanese Dog Breed:

The Havanese is an affectionate and loyal dog who follows you to all the spaces in your home. They are brilliant and make fun of you. They love human companionship. Havanese dog loves being on the laps of their best person. The only tricky thing in them is that if they are left alone, they may become stubborn and uninterested in any activities.

Feeding (Diet and Nutrition):

Havanese dogs require proper nutritional content to enrich their longevity. Make the diet plan include 22% crude proteins, 8% fat, and a small number of fiber contents. The Havanese dog’s metabolism is fast enough to reach growth. So, it is recommended to feed them with 1/2 to 1 cup of food per meal divided into two.

General Care:

The Havanese is a small breed but require lengthy walks or sports activities to keep them fit and healthy. Also, they will feel bored if restricted to a small area.
