Overview of the Cockapoo Dog Breed:

The Cockapoos are called as designer dog breed as they are a mix of two dog breeds, Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. Generally, the Cockapoos are very outgoing and they enjoy socializing with people. History of the Cockapoo Dog Breed:

The name Cockapoo became wide famous in the 1960s. The breeders tried to make it as purebred by crossing only the poodle or cocker. But few breeders preferred the multi-generation crossing. This somehow made the breed to expand into more and resulted in highly prized dogs. In 2004, the American Cockapoo Club was formed and they have certain standards to make purebred dogs.
Personality of the Cockapoo Dog Breed:

The Cockapoos have a pleasing and happy temperament. Their friendly attitude towards their family members makes them a very good family dog. He is very outgoing and very intelligent to understand the commands of the fellow owners. They are supposed to be treated like a charm. The Cockapoos have a vibrant temperament and they make a good companion.
Feeding (Diet and Nutrition):

The Cockapoos takes 1/4 to 3/4 cups of quality rich dry food per day of two meals. Give them only the nutrition-rich foods to enrich the quality of the dog. It higher their energy level and increases their outcomes. Have control over their diet. If you are giving excess diets it may make the dog obese.
General Care:

The Cockapoos enjoy morning walks and they are very good at making friends outside. Take them to the surrounding areas. It gives them better exercise and also the chance to socialize. They are available in many colors that are available in the Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. Trim their hairs around their face regularly as it may trouble them in the visibility. Trim their nails at regular intervals to prevent the pains due to the breakages.
Size and Weight:

The Cockapoos are not like other dogs. They are mostly available in four different categories in terms of size. The teacup toy weighs less than 6 pounds and 10 inches in height. The Toy Cockapoo variety can weigh nearer to 12 pounds and 10 inches in height. The miniature breed can stand between 11 to 14 inches taller and weighs around 13 to 18 pounds. The standard breed is the highest of all. It can reach more than 19 pounds in weight and 15 inches in height.
